Katie & Stephanie knew all along that they wanted a destination wedding but with all of the unknowns in the world right now they didn't want to risk it, so when looking up destination wedding locations in the U.S. they found Lake Lanier Islands! So, they immediately jumped on a plan and flew down here to check out the venue and almost immediately they both knew that was the venue where they would have their summer wedding!
So.. once they booked me as their wedding photographer, we started discussing options on how they would want to do their engagement session. They soon decided to wait until they came to GA in January to do their hair & Makeup trail as well as finalized some wedding plans! They flew all the way from Pennsylvania in January to Georgia thinking it would be "warm" it just dropped down into the 30's when they arrived, and they had no coats!! They winded up having to do a little shopping for some warmer outer layers!!
It may have been freezing but they two braved the cold and still had fun!! Of course, before starting the session Katie kindly warned me that she's very camera shy.. I told her no worries I got you that's why I'm your photographer... I will bring the best out in you! halfway into the session I had these two laughing, dancing and just having a whole vibe!
I can't wait for their wedding in June. also, totally ready for some warmer weather too!!!
